The Magic Show #26 – MTGO & the Best Card in Coldsnap
Inside I detail Magic Online — The good, the bad, the bot-filled goodness that is the game itself. I then show my new Magnivore deck and provide both analysis and a sample game.

Nice video there. I see you had a reason for taking a tad longer than usual to get it posted lol. I think they really just jank-ified Radha by making the mana effect occur in combat. While it is lucky we have Incinerate coming to use that, she is just underpowered at best at her current timing. I like your vore deck idea as well, although it seems that it would be very necessary to have Volcanic Hammer with the Seismic Spike; didn’t see much else to use it on.
Seriously, she’s got a HEAD IN HER HAND! Maybe if she had like… firebreathing or something it would be good. But… is there something we’re missing? Is RR during your combat step going to be that swingy?
you may remember me from MWS, i played mono red gauntlet burn against your magnivore deck, and am taking a budget version of your deck to FNM tomorow, i think it will rule.
Are you commenting with Jordan Buress? That Vore deck seemed quite neat. It requires good hand ftw(rite, land destruction, lands and vore), but then again what deck doesn´t.
i would never attempt to run this deck competitively
just because of the popularity and power of Dralnu right now however rite of flame fits amazingly into solar fires and i thank you for inspiring me to test that out.
the card is garbage… its a creature for 5 that dies really fast it is way to slow for the format.. by turn 4/5 when he comes out you lose to a dstorm deck
Last i checked, black was pretty darn good at disrupting dragonstorm decks. a couple castigates or a single persecute on red (especially on turn 3) tends to ruin a Dragonstorm player’s day. Panda Connection is a current deck that does a very good job of that. And considering a new WoG has been added to black, you can’t say that aggro will run over it by turn 4/5 either….not that it needed it to run over boros/gruul/zoo decks already.
been running your magnivore deck.. and while good against some of the random decks that pop-up in the serious room, it still cannot beat u/w pickles and u/g force. You pretty much need a turn 2 rain, but even then once they get their mana running and you run out of gas, it is lost.
the MTGO part hurt my head >:(, and my favorite fantasy play with Radha when tenth edition comes out, swing, add two red, disintegrate
i mean incinerate
Hmm Im gonna guess you meant Incinerate since disintegrate is a sorcery and not for good for 2 mana lol.
Good watch as always
Magus of the coffers stinks? I sure hope that was with sarcasm.
keep up the good work Evan.

it a not bad vore deck. it is good
How do you get around your opponent killing your 4 vores?

you could use the red giant growth on her and take 1 from mana burn
my comments seem to be copying themselves or something. its really strange “)

I wouldn’t disregard him so quickly.
